During Valentine’s month, show your love to those in need

The Charlotte White Center (CWC) has been providing support services to individuals facing the life challenges of cognitive, intellectual, and developmental disabilities, as well as behavioral health issues, for more than 30 years. Although the majority of funding for programs at CWC comes from the State of Maine, state assistance through Medicare and Medicaid is not sufficient to cover all of the critical assistance we provide to our consumers.

Charlotte White Center’s Holiday Store

The Charlotte White Center (CWC) will be hosting a Holiday Store at the Airport Mall in Bangor from December 15th-20th (closed Sunday, December 18th), from 11:00am – 5:00pm daily. The Airport Mall has once again showed their generosity to CWC by donating the space for this short-term holiday gift shop.

CWC will be accepting donations at the Store until Monday, December 19th. The Store will offer new and gently used clothing for sale, as well as gift baskets at discounted rates. CWC wishes to provide families in need with the ability to purchase gifts for their loved ones, while raising funds for programs supported by the Center.

Announcing the New Charlotte White Center Website

The CWC is happy to announce its new website: www.charlottewhitecenter.org. The newly designed website aims to provide the community with all relevant information about the Center, in a user-friendly platform.

Charlotte White Center Employee Appreciation Day – Mexican Style!

At the Charlotte White Center, we know the importance of making sure that our employees feel valued and appreciated. After all, the success of the organization is largely due to the hard work and passion of our 450+ dedicated employees.

Every year, the management of the Charlotte White Center invites all employees and their families to a fun-filled afternoon of activities and delicious food as a way of thanking them for all of their hard work and dedication. This year, the theme was “Mexican Fiesta.”
